Recipe makes about 1.5 pints

Each  Tbsp (approx. 16g) provides:

10 calories  Rato: N/A *to be used as a carb allotment

0.17 gm Protein

0.28 gm Fat

1.76 gm Carbohydrate


453gm / 16 ounce bag frozen blueberries

14gm / 2 Tbsp. Chia seeds (optional: measure first then grind the seeds in a coffee grinder for a finer texture)

12gm / 1 Tbsp. Truvia

pinch of salt


1.     Place all ingredients in a pot and set over high heat.  Stir the ingredients well.

2.     Continue to stir the blueberries to encourage them to thaw.  Use a potato masher to help break the blueberries up and release their liquid. Bring the mixture to a boil.

3.     Boil the blueberry mixture for 5 minutes while continuously stirring to prevent burning. 

4.     Turn off the heat and allow the jam to cool slightly before transferring to a jar.  Refrigerate the jam for up to 1 week.
