#111. My daughter is on the MAD & has a chol of 400mg/dL with HDL 100mg/dL, LDL 279, TGY 100mg/dL .Can this be considered "normal" for the diet at the beginning?

Elevated lipids are not usually a problem in children and if they are eleveated they tend to improve over time. If these are fasting lipids which means no food for at least 12 hours prior to blood draw then dietary adjustments can be made to improve them. Her TGY is in the normal range which leads me to believe that this is a fasting level.
